Cistus bushes are growing mostly on the Mediterranean.
They love indeed dry soils (but generally siliceous limestone) and sunny.
Additionally they have the particularity to regenerate easily and even to multiply after the fires.
Suffice to say that the maquis or Mediterranean scrubland, so often affected by forest fires, are lined with cistaies that bloom from spring to summer (April-June).

Cistus ladaniferus, essential oil 100% pure and natural.
